So it made me remember about a little something I wrote last year...
Hope you like it...
Here goes...
Wanderer
I feel like a wanderer,
In the middle of the night.
Someplace nobody can see me,
Someplace no one will ever find me...
Someplace inside my heart.
It seems like yesterday,
I met a funny little creature.
Everybody knows it by "love".
I understood it just perfectly...
But it didn't seem to understand me.
At the time, it apeared to be such a wonderfull thing.
But as time passed,
As it started to walk by my side,
And as my ways started to change because of it,
I started to see everything more clearly.
Not so long ago,
I met my friend "love" again.
Only, this time it seemed frendlier.
It was so close to me,
Yet so far from my heart.
I tried to reach it
But it hid from me.
I tried to touch it
But it ran out of site.
I tried to get closer to it
And it lured me into following it.
Today I know better.
Today I know "love" is just an illusion.
Today, when "love" gets close to me,
I'll know just how to act.
I'll do better than to go in it's path.
...
Love is such a strange thing...
The more you think you understand it,
More confused you get.
The more you look for it,
Farther you get from finding it.
